Swift Technical Campus

The First Guest Lecture was delivered by Professor Gurcharan Singh, School of Business Management Punjabi University Patiala on 13/9/2013. It was on the topic: Team Building. The Faculty and the Students of different disciplines were fully involved. Both the teachers and the students took benefit of the deliberations of the resource person.

The second Lecture was on Human Rights in India: Problems and Prospects by Professor S.S.Tiwana former Dean, Academic Affairs Punjabi University Patiala. The Lecture delivered was full of Knowledge and information from which the participants were greatly benefited. The major focus of the lecture was on Human Rights on Women and the Schedule Caste. Certain queries were raised which were successfully cleared by the resource person. The overall impact of the lecture was good enough.

A technical event named as " SANGRAM-2013 " was organized for BCA students in Swift Institute of Management & Computer Science. It was 2 days event in which various activities are involved:

c).Exhibition (Theme-"Techno-War")

Day2:
a). Techno Quiz
b). Technical Presentations


Convener of the event was Ms.Shivani Grover & Mr.Rohit Seth from Computer Science Department. The students were awarded with their certificates and prizes by Dr. Arora (CEO Academics) and it boosted the students for future participation.

Educational Trip of BA- 2nd Year students was organised on 1st March 2013 to Bhani Sahib Ludhiana. The educational trip was success. The students had learned about Namdhari Laher which is the part of their curriculum.

The places visited during this trip are as follows:

1) Satguru Ram Singh miniature park kuka sangrand - Different models were displayed to show the whole laher.

2) Ram Sarovar - The source of sarovar water is mysteriously unknown.

3) Hawan Kund - Chandi di vaar chanted 1.25 lakh times in a day.

4) Partap Mandal - The attaraction of this mandal is that it is without any pillars.

5) Harimandir - 24 hrs puja is performed .

6) Gol Madir - It is a worship place for Satguru Partap singh and Satguru Jagjit Singh.

7) Nishan Sahib - It is logo of Nam dhari.

8) Ram Mandir -Previously known as Kranti kari madir. The personal belongings Satguru Ram singh placed here.

9) Gadda - It is 143 yrs old gadda.
