NSS Campaign 29th Feb 2016

Swift Technical campus organized one day NSS Campaign on the Theme "Save Our Precious Environment" on Monday Feb, 29, 2016.

The Focus of the Campaign was to make Swiftarians (1st Year Students) from Swift School of Nursing, Management and Pharmacy aware about latest environmental concerns .The Campaign began from Nursing department at 12:00p.m and ended at Management block at 2:00p.m on 29,Feb,2016.Again the same session of environmental Campaign was planned on 2nd March,2016 at 10:30a.m in Swift school of Pharmacy and the students were made aware of the fact that today's modern life and cut throat competition is exhibited in the form of misuse of environment, environmental pollution and self absorption. The Campaign was presented with various environmental issues like global warming and Mass extinction and the students tried to provide solution to overcome these problems with the help of audio-visual aids. The Campaign Winded with the slogan "Keep our India clean and green"

Seminar On "SANITATION"

NSS Unit conducted a Guest lecture on 1st October,2015 the eve of 'Swacchh Bharat Abhiyan' .The lecture "On Sanitation" was delivered by Dr. Neerja Shukla Vice Principal of GNM, SION . All the students and faculty members gave her a warm welcome.

She shared her valuable views on Hygiene and Health. She said that "Good health can be achieved through good sanitary habits". She told all the students about the meaning and aims of Hygiene. She also talked about other important aspects of health like Mental, Emotional, Spiritual and Vocational hygiene. All the students and faculty members promised her to follow her tips in the future.

Independence Day and Teej Celebration- August 2015

Swift Technical Campus celebrated 69th Independence Day and Teej with great enthusiasm in an environment filled with patriotic expressions. The celebrations marked the dual festivity of Teej (festival of swings) and Independence Day. Students attired in colourful, traditional Punjabi dresses gave their college campus a festive look of a lively village.

The celebrations began with students showcasing the varied hues of Incredible India through their eye-catching performances. On this occasion, students spoke on various aspects of development such as education, economic progress and women empowerment. Youthful girls performed traditional songs and dancing--Giddha, Tappe, Boliyan and folk songs. Poster making, rangoli, mehandi, nail art, hair styling competitions were also organized.

Students were adjudged by a panel of judges and the winners were tagged with first, second and third prize. The chief guest of the day Dr. Maninder applauded the initiative of the students to make the day remarkable.
