The students & the teachers under NSS activities collected the clothes and distributed them among the needy slump dwellers of the Rajpura town on 21/02/2014. There was a very good response on the part of students. It had a motivating effect on the students who can goin far the social service activities.
This Programme was organized on 18/03/2014 in which as many as 34 teachers of different institutions participated. All the four principals addressed the teachers. The first speaker of the day was Dr. Rachna Kumria , who spoke on newer teaching methodologies. In her lecture she laid emphasis on game playing , simulation and problem solving techniques. It was followed by presentation by Col. Amarjeet Singh who focused on certain tips for Personality Development.
The next speaker Dr. Mohinder Singh addressed on the topic entitled Teachers of tomorrow : Need for general , ethical & moral values. He attracted a great deal attention of teachers towards their own development by way of enhancing the knowledge , information and keep pace with the changing requirements and expectations of the society. The last speaker of the day was Dr. Saroj who highlighted the concept and components of conflict management. She explained the types of conflict , the reasons thereof and solution thereto . In the end Dr. Mohinder Singh proposed Vote of thanx to all principals and the faculty members. The programme remained very useful to the teachers who can develop their skills , enhance their knowledge and imbibe moral & ethical values . They may become very good teachers as well as responsive & responsible..
Fresher's Party was organized by Swift Technical Campus on 13/11/2013 organized in which the teachers and students actively participated and enjoyed.
