Talent hunt program is an important event that locates the hidden talent of students and guides & utilizes their energy in correct direction. A Talent Hunt Show was organized in Swift Institute of Management and Computer Science to find out the hidden talent of the fresher's.
The show started at 10.30 a.m. with Fine arts competition, in which various arts like rangoli, mehndi, landscaping and drawing were performed. All the participants were highly energetic and were in full zeal and spirit to show their talents. Participants were given one hour to complete the task. At 11.30 a.m., the event was judged by worthy CEO Academics, Dr. V.K. Arora and respected Principal (Swift Institute of Management and Computer Science) Dr. Jaskaran Singh Dhillon. The judges appreciated the student's task and encouraged them to participate in future as well. The words of the judges pour in the positive energy and feel in students.
The next competitions were extempore, debates, speeches and declamation, which started at 11.45 a.m. Students came up with the topics like women empowerment and importance of IT in the business world today. Both the topics were well narrated.
The show was carried forward with the Theatre round. The student's portrayed the skits and dramas in a very professional manner and every one in the audience was entertained by these acts. The Theatre round was over by 1p.m. Students were advised to gather again at 2 p.m., after lunch break for the second half of the show.
The second half of the talent hunt began at 2.15 p.m. the competitions in this part were singing and dancing. The students were full of energy and enthusiasm to perform. Students from almost all the classes of the college participated in this event. There were a few on the spot entries as well. The competition started with the singing event and was praised by all. The students were really were participative in this event.
A few games were also played like saree tying and balloon basket games. The students were happy and were encouraged to work in teams.
The last event of the day was dancing competition which had maximum participations Students thoroughly enjoyed this event. All the students were encouraged and were advised to let the fire of talent be burning in their hearts and were also informed about the last year's achievements by the students of the college in inter college competitions. They were boosted up by this news and were ready to give their best in upcoming events. The show was successful and it came to an end at 3.55 p.m.
