The Birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was celebrated on 27/09/2013 by the faculty and students. The list of items include Poem, Role, Singing, Folk Song and Speech. In Poetry Ms. Mandeep Kaur BA final stood first, Ms. Abha BA I stood second and Lovepreet of BAI stood third. In Slogan writing Ms Manpreet Kaur stood first, Mr. Narsi Ram BA final stood second and Mandeep Kaur & Sandeep Kaur BCA II stood third. In Singing again Manpreet stood first, Ms. Sunita BA II stood second and Varinder Singh BA I stood third. In Speech Ms. Ramandeep Kaur B.Com I stood first, Manpreet Kaur second and Ms. Kamla B.Com III stood third. The Teachers and the students showed great interest and there was a direct and positive impact on their thinking.
Gandhi Jayanti Celebrated on 01/10/2013. A special function was organized to remember and celebrate the morals and the great man who brought us freedom with peace and harmony. The function was inaugurated with the speech of Dr. Mohinder Singh (Principal) who highlighted the social, economic and political ideologies of Gandhi ji. The highlights of the show were poster making, paper reading, poems and songs on various facets of Gandhian approach. The celebration, infact had a direct impact on the minds of the students and the audience. The students who stood first, second and third in each item were awarded. This joint venture of the faculty and the students achieved a grand success.
Birthday of Shri Guru Nank Dev ji was celebrated on 15/11/2013 at 11.00 am onwards. In which the staff & the students actively participated and also helped in organizing the same. The Programme included path of Sukhmani Sahib , Shabad , Lectures on teaching of Guru Nank Dev Ji.
