Information and Commencement of SGOC is an achievement in a true sense for the entire Ind-Swift Group.

Swift Group of Colleges aspire to provide quality education to thousand of students through it's premier Institute for Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing and Humanities. Apart from this SGOC is also dedicated to the society and plans to start a Medical College.

SSP is affiliated to PTU and is amongst top ranking colleges, SION is affiliated to BFUHS. SIOM and SIOH is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. SIET is affiliated to Coventry University, UK. We take pride in the accomplishments of our faculty, staff, and associates and the modern learning methodologies which act as a tool in transforming lives by challenging students to unfold their actual potential and to apply classroom lectures in their professional life.

President,s Profile

Dr. Gopal Munjal, a prominent and assiduous personality, with his eyes looking for skies; was born and brought up in Ludhiana and after concluding his medical studies served in civil hospital for an year. But how could a man aspiring for skies could immobilize from augmentations in his career? So, by the kind virtue of fortune and tireless dedication, he reached at the drastic decision of alternating his career and entered into the pharmaceutical industry, by shifting to Chandigarh in 1984 where he inaugurated Ind Swift Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Commencing from nothing, he elevated the group to firmament where it's today's turnover is 1500 crores. The Ind Swift group is entirely to canonize the health care of the society with the formulations and bulk drugs to almost 40 countries across the Globe. With the adamantine strife and invincible efforts of 20 long years, the group has escalated to the Second largest group in the Northern India in pharmaceutical industry. Under the Chairmanship of Dr. G. Munjal, the group accomplished "Pharma Pulse Award" for two consecutive years i.e. 2002-03 and 2003-04 by virtue of its fastest growing peculiarity in the category of fastest growing Pharmaceutical companies of India.

The group has already been honored among India's top five hundred fortune companies of India by the famous magazines like "India Today" and "Business World". Ind-Swift has also been ranked No.35th Pharma Company out of total 23000 Pharmaceutical companies by IMS organization. It's quite momentous to specify here that as an individual, Dr. Munjal has been honored as "Legend Businessman of the year" Award in 2003 & "Punjab Rattan Award" in 2006 conferred upon by Honorable Governor of Haryana Dr. A.R. Kidwai .

But in order to elevate the company beyond the limits of success, Dr. Munjal involved himself extra progressively into diversifications and with an aim to maneuver the company towards 1000 crore project of university at Rajpura, took the complete charge as C.E.O and M.D of the company in April 2008.

Dr. Munjal's own assortment in Punjab Cricket team in 1973-74, exactly exhibits his passion for Sports/Art and Music like extracurricular activities. Dr. Munjal is the president of Haryana Distt. 20-20 Cricket association. Apart from that he is Sr. Vice President of Rotary club panchkula distt. Recently, this renowned personality has been conferred upon Ludhiana Management Association-Vardhman Award for "Entrepreneurship of the year 2007" by H.E. Gen. S.F Rodrigures, Hon’ble Governor, Punjab.

It doesn't go without saying that Dr. Munjal has maneuvered the Ind Swift Group so proficiently, that today, apart from Pharmaceuticals; it has diversified into multifarious field's viz. Educations, Publications, Printings, Packaging & Stationary, and Infrastructures with its every unit as an independent profit centre. To sum up, Dr. Munjal has made the Group reached at the peak of its success and is still eying on the convoluted heights, and therefore, with a dense courage and irresistible fortitude is spearheading to emerge up with a new revolution in the business industry. It will be quite justifiable to say that Dr. Munjal is an exemplary figure, who knows how to find his own way in adversities; like a brook which gushes onwards and makes its own way among all the hurdles, hard rocks coming in between.
