Swift School of Pharmacy, celebrated 50th National Pharmacy Week-2011 with the theme "Pharmacist: A Health Care Professional" on 21st November, 2011. The Program included Guest Lectures by intellectuals from field of pharmacy and tree plantation by the Student of the Swift School of Pharmacy. Dr. Abhay Dharamsi, Principal, Swift School of Pharmacy explained the role of pharmacist as health care professional in current scenario . The lecture was attended by Faculty and students of the college which was followed by tree plantation .On this occasion, Dr. G. Munjal, President, SWIFT Group of Colleges emphasized the need of trees to counter the ill effects of global warming. Dr.Munjal further added that plantation of trees not only enhances the beautification of the campus but also provide better environmental conditions. The necessary arrangement for the event was undertaken by Dr. Maninder Mehmi, Admin. Head and her team. It was a great occasion for students as they get all their quires resolved by the various eminent personalities in the field of pharmacy.
