IQAC Composition

The establishment of an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a mandatory requirement for all higher education institutions, as directed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). This body is designed to function as a strategic mechanism for fostering and maintaining a robust culture of quality, which is essential for ensuring academic excellence. The primary responsibilities of the IQAC encompass the development and application of quality benchmarks, the cultivation of a learner-centric educational environment, and the systematic dissemination of information pertaining to institutional quality parameters.

Tenure and Terms of the Cell

The tenure for all members of the committee is three years. The IQAC is required to convene at least once per semester, or more frequently as needed. A quorum of 60% of the total committee members is necessary to conduct a meeting.

The agenda, minutes, and Action Taken Report (ATR) for each meeting must be officially documented with the signatures of the members. These records must also be maintained electronically in a retrievable format. For all other matters, the guidelines issued by NAAC, including any subsequent amendments, will apply.
