In Nursing, we provide 4 year B.Sc Nursing (Basic) program comprising eight semesters and GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) duration is 3 years and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is of 2 years undergraduate programs recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi & BFUHS (Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot) and PNRC (Punjab Nursing Registration Council, Punjab). These programs prepare students for generalist nursing including midwifery practice concepts knowledge requisition related to wellness, health promotion, illness, disease management and care of the dying is core to nursing practice. Mastery of competencies is the main focus. Here , students are provided with opportunities to learnt the whole range of skills in addition to acquiring knowledge related to nursing practice (nursing and midwifery).
