| 4 | Parent less child | The scheme supports children under 21 years whose parents are deceased, missing, or incapacitated. With an annual family income cap of ₹60,000, the scheme provides monthly financial assistance to ensure the child’s well-being and education. In the absence of the original guardian, a successor or near relative is nominated by the SDM to continue receiving benefits without interruption. This ensures continuous support for vulnerable children in Punjab. | Apply |
| 5 | Single Parent Child (Punjab) | Under this Scheme, Financial Assistance is granted to the children below the age of 21 years, whose mother/father or both have passed away or parents regularly absent from home or have become physically /mentally incapacitated to look after the family. Total annual Income should not be more than Rs. 60,000/- including business or rental or interest income. b) Under the Financial Assistance to Dependent Children, in the event of death of mother-father/guardian nomination will be made by the sanctioned authority /SDM of near relative as guardian/ successor and on the old application form and old P.L.A. number, new nominated guardian/successor will be approved by the sanctioning officer and financial assistance will be continued without any break to the nominated guardian/ successor. | Apply |
| 6 | Disable/Handicapped Child | Apply online for scholarships for differently abled by the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC).
