Report on one hour seminar on Nursing Ethics for future placement

One hour seminar on Nursing Ethics for future placement was conducted by Mrs. Deepinder Kaur Malhi ,Associate Prof.(OBG) at SION on 17/07/19 for B.Sc. 4th Year and GNM 3rd Year students.

The objective was to inform and update the students about different ethical principles and values in nursing profession which must be known to nursing professionals not only for placement but also to work legally and ethically.

The session was concluded with questions on three cases including ethical dilemma at workplace.

During the preparation of campus interview, the students were given lecture on the topic, FON basic procedures. The lecture was conducted o 17th July, 2019 by Miss Simmy Kahlon, Associate professor of Nursing Department.

The students were given the information on the basic interview questions related to foundation of Nursing. In addition, the basic principles and procurers of nursing which is designed to guide assessment, involvement, and evaluation of nursing care were also being taught and discussed. The theories were also taken into consideration as these are helpful in providing accurate knowledge regarding a rational for collecting reliable and valid data about the health status of the patient. Moreover, the skills required for foundation of many nursing responsibilities were discussed which are beneficial for the pupil to assume throughout their career as both a nurse and a student.

At the end, during recapitalization, students were answerable to the entire questions asked by trainer.

Report on one hour seminar on grooming for future placement

One hour seminar on "grooming" for future placement was conducted by Miss Monika Thakur at SION on 16/07/19 for B.Sc. 4th Year and GNM 3rd Year students. The objective was to inform and update the students about different skills, knowledge and behavior development which must necessary not only for placement but also to work in any area.
